How to register your phone in NTA?

Nepal Telecommunication Authority has issued the notice and there are so many vibes created about the mobile phone registration to the NTA via its official website. Yes, as per the notice from the NTA, every mobile phones must be registered using their IMEI otherwise unregistered and specially newly brought mobiles will be out of network.

It is also said that the users mobiles that were in use earlier will be running but after some months, may be within Shrawan 2078, will have to register the phones IMEI after the SMS notifications. It is said the mobile phones bought newly from abroad must be registered in Airport (supposed to manage the registration centre within Airport and tax applies from 2 to 13% if brought more than one ) and the new mobile phones bought here must confirm that the phone has been registered. It is said that the phones bought from registered importers is registered and functions properly.

1. Copy the IMEI correctly.  Dial *#06# and you see your IMEI in most of the phones.

   You can get the IMEI using the Phone Settings -->> About Phone >> IMEI. For dual sim need to register both IMEI.

2.  Brand Name, Model Number, 

3. Your citizenship for uploading the document.

Note: To input multiple IMEI / ESN / MEID use ';' to seperate.
